We are all working mums, and Mother’s Day means different things to each of us. It’s a day that looks different year on year, shaped by family, work, distance and moments of connection. This is how we’d each like to spend Mother's Day this year.

Mother’s Day always feels a little bit magical. It’s a day that reminds me to slow down, soak up the little moments, and appreciate the beautiful chaos of family life.
This year looks a little different for us. My husband usually takes the lead on organising the day on behalf of our children, but this year he’s away — so it’s just me and my two. While it might be less of a surprise, I think it might actually make the day even more special.
My perfect Mother’s Day would start with tea and toast in bed. Nothing fancy. Absolute bliss. (I might have to casually leave this blog post open somewhere for the kids to read…)
I’d love for us to head out for a family walk. Fresh air, muddy boots, and plenty of chatter along the way. Ideally we’d end up at a cosy pub somewhere for a proper Sunday roast — the kind where everyone leaves feeling full and happy. The afternoon would be all about spending time together. I love baking, so making a cake with the kids would be the perfect way to end the day.
My perfect Decadorn piece:Lately, my favourite piece I’ve been wearing on repeat is our new Statement Domed Quartz Pendant. It’s one of those pieces that feels effortless but still special, and I have a feeling it’s something I’ll keep coming back to season after season.
For me, Mother’s Day isn’t about grand gestures or elaborate plans. It’s about those small, joyful moments — time spent with the people who made me a mum in the first place.

My perfect day for Mothers Day would be to have a fun experience with my family. We would start the day with a hearty breakfast (including my favourite - croissants!) and then grab a stage show or immersive art experience. I love doing something different and discovering new things with my children. I also use the day to reach out to my sisters and close female friends. I get such joy from keeping connected and being involved in their lives.
My perfect Decadorn piece:We give so much of ourselves as mums that I feel we should indulge (more than a little) and spoil ourselves. My birthday is in March. I love the Belcher Chain with an Aquamarine Carved Stone and it's meaning of Serenity & Protection.

Mother’s Day is different every year for me. I live quite a long way from my mum, but if we can be together, we will, often with my sister too plus all the partners and kids. It’s a great excuse to get everyone together and celebrate properly.
This year, we won’t all be together, so I’ll be spending it with my two gorgeous sons and my husband. I love eating out, so I might suggest a pub lunch. A roast is everyone’s favourite followed by a walk along the beach with the dog if the sun is shining.
My perfect Decadorn piece:I love chunky jewellery and layering up my necklaces, so my favourite piece right now would be one of our new bead styles. I already have the Tiger Eye beads and wear them all the time. I really love the colour of the Peach Moonstone beads. They feel fresh, soft and easy to style with everything.

My kids are 16 and 19 and my daughter is away at uni, so for my perfect Mothers day I’d love to go back in time for just a morning. I have such lovely memories of when my children were small. They would always hand write cards and drawings and attempt to make me breakfast in bed which would consist of a piece cold buttered toast cut up into squares all delivered on a tray with a flower from the garden. Sadly my daughter won’t be at home for mothers day so I’m guessing we will have a long FaceTime to catch up and Im hoping if I bribe my son with a burger he might want go to the cinema as he’s a real film buff!
