Dalmatian Jasper: The Stone of Positivity

With its creamy base and playful dark spots, Dalmatian Jasper has become a real team favourite this season. Almost every one of us is wearing it in some form, and it's easy to see why.

A little stone with a big story

Dalmatian Jasper isn't actually a true jasper at all. It's an igneous rock, born from cooled molten rock deep in the earth. Its soft cream colour comes from feldspar and quartz, while those famous spots are natural mineral inclusions, often black tourmaline.

And yes, it's named after the Dalmatian dog. Once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.

Because the spots form naturally, no two stones are ever alike. When we hand-select each one in the studio, we're choosing a piece that's completely its own, just like the person who'll wear it.

The meaning behind the spots

Dalmatian Jasper is known as the stone of positivity. It's thought to bring joy, lift the mood and encourage a light-hearted, playful spirit, a gentle reminder not to take life too seriously.

It's also considered a grounding stone, bringing calm and balance on busier days. Joyful and steadying in equal measure, it's one of those stones that simply feels good to wear.

“I love Dalmatian Jasper because it has so much personality. The pattern is playful but the colours are easy to wear, so it goes with everything. I'm never without my statement Dalmatian beads at the moment.”
