The Best of Bath

The Best of Bath

Bath, a city I fell in love with from the moment I moved here. Now the studio is here too I'm more excited than ever to show you around.

From the best independent shops, to my most-frequented coffee spots, read on to discover some of my favourite corners of Bath.

I really hope you can visit soon.

Coffee Shops

Watch House

Located on the historic Old Bond Street, this new coffee shop has a lovely upstairs space and the coffee is pretty hard to beat.

Boston Tea Party

This is my choice if I want to get a bit of work done. It has a lovely wide open light space and you can guarantee a seat (in the week).

Lunch Spots

Green Street Butchers

Tucked away on this little side street, Green Street Butchers is worth venturing to for the most delicious roast chicken bap.

Nook

I love this place when I want to grab a healthier lunch bowl. It's also the perfect spot for watching the world go by. You'll find this favourite nestled away on Old Bond Street in the city centre.

Taylor's Bagels

Located at the top of Walcot Street, close to our studio, Taylor's makes the best (and fastest) bagels in town.

Independent Shops

Found

This independent shop has been a favourite of mine for many years as I used to stock them at Decadorn when I first started my jewellery journey. A must-visit for beautiful gifts.

Berdoulat

Having recently moved house as well as studio, homeware shopping has been high on my agenda. This beautifully restored shop stocks home goods you won't find anywhere else.

Julia Davey

Another gorgeous independent shop, full to the roof of beautiful gifts and homeware. Visit Julia's shop and you won't come away empty-handed!

Toppings

Book Heaven! This independent bookshop is stocked floor to ceiling with every book you could imagine. They also offer evening talks by authors - check out their website for what's coming up.

Sights

Skyline Walk

The 3-mile Bath Skyline Walk is stunning. Start from Alexandra Park, grab a treat from the Choux Box Patisserie to keep you going and enjoy.

The Crescent

One of the city's most iconic landmarks, no trip to Bath is complete without seeing the Royal Crescent. On a sunny day pack a picnic to enjoy while taking in the view and watching the world go by.

The Wier

A beautiful walk whatever the weather, this is our route to school and the most beautiful commute I could imagine. Just upstream you'll find Pulteney Bridge brimming with shops on both sides.

Pubs & Restaurants

Budo

Just off Pulteney Bridge, this Japanese restaurant is my new favourite. This restaurant is walk-in only, but that makes it even better in my opinion.

Castle Farm

The best roast I have ever tasted. This restaurant can be found in a unique setting, just south of the city in Midford.

Walcot House

Another Walcot Street favourite. This is my go-to after a long day at the studio for drinks and tasty, fuss-free food. The beautiful interior is a bonus too.

Hare & Hounds

A must-visit for the best view over Bath. Sit outside with a Pizza in the summer months or opt for a cozy corner inside on cooler days.
