Our Gold ~ filled chains and earrings have the same appearance as high carat gold. Even with daily wear, it can last years longer than plated items, though the layer of gold will eventually wear off exposing the metal underneath. The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 5 to 10 times thicker than that produced by regular gold plating. Gold-filled jewellery is incredibly hard wearing and resistant to tarnishing, it is also a far more affordable option than solid gold.
